Website Speed Test

Time to first byte, total load time, page size, compression and HTTP version.

Free, no sign up Live check from our servers
Measures the server, not the browser. Aim for TTFB under 500 ms.
Quick answer

The most important number for hosting speed is time to first byte, the delay before the server starts sending your page. This tool measures DNS, connection, TLS, TTFB and full download time from our network, then checks compression, caching headers and HTTP version.

01How to use the website speed test

  1. Enter the page address.
  2. Click Test. We fetch the page once, like a browser.
  3. Aim for TTFB under 500 ms. If it is over 1 second on every test, the hosting is too slow or the site needs caching.

02Questions about this tool

What is a good TTFB?
Under 200 ms is excellent, under 500 ms is fine, over 1 second needs work. LiteSpeed with LSCache usually gives under 300 ms.
Why is my WordPress site slow?
Common reasons are no caching, heavy themes, too many plugins and slow shared hosting. Start with a cache plugin and check again.
Is this the same as Google PageSpeed?
No. PageSpeed measures the browser experience. This tool measures the server. Both matter, and a slow server hurts every PageSpeed score.
