We ask Google, Cloudflare, Quad9 and OpenDNS live.
Quick answer

After you change nameservers or an A record, different resolvers around the world update at different times. This tool asks four major public resolvers and shows what each one currently answers, so you know if the change has gone live.

01How to use the dns propagation checker

  1. Enter your domain and the record type you changed.
  2. Click Check. Each resolver is queried live.
  3. When all four show the new value, the change has propagated for most users.

02Questions about this tool

How long does DNS propagation take?
Usually 15 minutes to a few hours. The maximum is the TTL of the old record, often 24 hours. Lower the TTL before a change to speed this up next time.
Why does one resolver show the old value?
That resolver is still holding the old record in its cache until the TTL expires. Nothing is wrong. Wait and check again.
Does my own computer use these resolvers?
PTCL, Jazz, Zong and other Pakistani networks run their own resolvers. If those show old values, you can switch your device to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 to see the new site sooner.
